Our research is motivated by a strong conviction that business processes in electronic enterprises can be designed to deliver high levels of performance through the use of mathematical modeling. Our research vision is to create next generation algorithms for making e-commerce, e-business, and supply chain management extremely efficient. The research is a cross-disciplinary effort involving areas such as combinatorial optimization, algorithms, auctions and negotiations, game theory, machine learning, and stochastic modeling.
